Matthew’s path to design wasn’t straightforward. After early plans to join the RAF and then a career in tech, he realised that creating spaces was where his real passion lay. Even as a child, he was constantly rearranging and redecorating his room, instinctively understanding how a well-designed space could influence how people feel. This passion led him to study a degree at the National Design Academy, where he graduated with first-class honours while working as a home design stylist for John Lewis. Over five years, he completed more than 250 projects, gaining hands-on experience in turning ideas into reality.

Blending creativity with technical know-how, Matthew believes that great design should be accessible to everyone. Clients often describe him as personable, knowledgeable, and someone who helps them see possibilities they hadn’t considered.
